Job Title: Senior Women's Healthcare Professional
The primary role of this position is to provide high-quality clinical care to women accessing our Continuity of Midwifery Care service. This involves applying comprehensive knowledge and skills in midwifery care, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver clinical care to women receiving the Continuity of Midwifery Care service
* Maintain practice knowledge to deliver the full scope of midwifery care to women
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a team-based approach
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife
* Demonstrated evidence of clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills in midwifery care
* Exhibited clinical leadership skills and ability to practice and influence others within a professional and ethical framework
* Ability to work autonomously within an overall team environment with commitment to ongoing professional development
* Demonstrated commitment to clinical research, quality improvement, and procedure development
* Knowledge of relevant legislation related to the position
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills as well as computer literacy skills
* Current unrestricted drivers' license and ability to maintain
