About the Role
As a Relief Teacher at Townsville Grammar School, you will be engaged on an as-needed basis to provide effective classroom supervision and instruction, following prepared lesson plans and established school expectations. You will contribute to maintaining a positive, orderly and inclusive learning environment and support continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Relief teaching opportunities may arise across a range of year levels and subject areas, depending on your qualifications, experience and availability.
About You
You are a professional and adaptable educator who is confident stepping into new classroom environments. You will demonstrate:
* Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to professional standards and continuous improvement
* The ability to work collaboratively and respond flexibly to school needs
* The legal right to work in Australia
