Rural Aid is Australia's most trusted rural Charity. We were founded in 2015 on the back of the very successful "Buy a Bale" drought fundraising campaign of 2013. Funded by donations, our charity provides support and assistance to farmers and rural communities during times of natural disasters and actively supports the long-term sustainability of the agriculture sector - our 'Mates in the Bush'

Our new Role:
We are a dynamic national charity, headquartered in Brisbane, and celebrated a decade of transformative work in 2025, and we're on the lookout for an innovative and supportive Business Systems & IT Manager ('BSITM') to enhance our existing business processes, design system solutions, and ensure a more seamless integration of data across our organistion. What you'll do:
Reporting to the CFO and contributing significantly to the continuing success of our organistion, the BSITM role will focus on:
* Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment project management & solution support.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications and integrations.
* Business process documentation and continuous improvement to support business efficiency, scale and data collection.
* Assist Rural Aid in the delivery of established strategic plans and objectives as a valued member of the management team & subject matter expert.
* Managing and monitoring external ICT related vendors including;
* IT managed services and network,
* cyber security,
* web development (in collaboration with Marketing); and,
* software support services to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
This includes responsibility for:
* Maintaining and supporting the core business functionality of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
* Collaboration across the organisation to document business processes and translate them into system requirements.
* Leading change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
* Providing support, troubleshooting and configuration for applications within the Rural Aid Microsoft Dynamics 365 infrastructure with a focus on Power Flows, Power Apps, Power BI and all integrations (website, third party platforms, fundraising and other applications).
* Project manage application configuration, upgrades, installations and maintenance, including developing and maintaining high quality design and support documentation.
* Coordinate end-user support (in conjunction with the IT managed services provider), troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis and documenting solutions.
What we're looking for - Qualifications & Experience
It is expected that suitable applicants for this role will have relevant, practical experience across the range of responsibilities. As part of this experience:
* Five (5) + years experience in an IT Manager or ICT System implementation role including a track record of contribution to organisational and strategic outcomes.
* Experience supporting Microsoft technology (Azure, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI), networking and cybersecurity.
* Hands-on, proactive approach to managing people, systems, projects, and external vendors
* Experience in IT change management during implementations and upgrades
* Experience supporting users to document business processes and design system solutions
* Relevant Microsoft certifications or equivalent experience to support the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
* Strong organisational, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Personal attributes:
* Strong team player with a flexible, collaborative and supportive attitude with a genuine interest in the work Rural Aid performs to support Primary Producers and rural communities.
* Strong organisational and time management with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
* Impressive attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills in engaging with end-users, external suppliers and process documentation, including the transfer of expertise and ability to explain technical concepts in a non-technical manner, when required.
* Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to an evolving IT environment
* Team player with can-do attitude and a proven track record of contributing to the successful achievement of both departmental and organisational key aims & objectives.
