Job Description
A senior electrical estimator is needed for a leading civil contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for projects, collaborating with project management staff and external design firms on design-build proposals, and attending pre-qualification events and site visits as required.
* 5+ years of estimating experience in the underground transmission & distribution industry
* Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field is a plus
* Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software systems (HCSS Heavy Bid, Accubid, Quickpen, etc.)
* Strong understanding of the greater New York & New England construction market
