We are seeking a proactive and organised Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support our external growth initiatives across GP engagement, digital marketing and recruitment marketing.

About The Role
This is a hands-on coordination role supporting marketing execution, GP outreach activities and psychiatrist recruitment initiatives. This role includes hands-on content creation and production of marketing materials across digital and event channels.
You will work closely with leadership to implement growth strategies and ensure marketing and business development activities are executed effectively.
You will work closely with leadership to support the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives that drive referral growth and recruitment outcomes.
This role offers exposure to both healthcare marketing and external relationship development.

Key Responsibilities
Conference & Event Coordination
• Research and track relevant GP and medical conferences (e.g. GPCE, RACGP events)
• Coordinate registrations, logistics and travel
• Prepare marketing materials and referral information packs
• Coordinate structured post-event follow-up campaigns
• Support on-site engagement activities, including attendance at interstate conferences when required
GP Engagement & Outreach Support
• Maintain and update GP contact database
• Assist with targeted GP outreach campaigns
• Coordinate GP information sessions or networking initiatives
• Support referral relationship follow-ups
• Track GP engagement and referral metrics
Digital Marketing & Growth
• Assist with updates to the clinic website
• Lead and execute SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings
• Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns (budget allocation, keyword strategy, ROI tracking)
• Analyse website traffic and performance metrics (Google Analytics, Search Console) and provide monthly reports with actionable insights
• Maintain and optimise Google Business Profile (reviews, updates, local SEO visibility)
• Oversee and manage clinic social media accounts (content planning, posting, engagement)
• Coordinate with external developers or designers when required — but retain ownership of performance outcomes
• Identify opportunities to increase online enquiries and patient conversions
Content Creation & Creative Production
• Design marketing materials and visual assets using Canva or similar tools
• Create digital banners, ad creatives, and promotional graphics for campaigns and events
• Develop professional presentations for conferences, GP engagement, and recruitment initiatives
• Support visual branding across website, social media, email campaigns, and directories
• Ensure all creative output aligns with clinic brand guidelines and professional standards
Email & Content Marketing
• Assist in preparing GP newsletters and email campaigns
• Coordinate distribution of referral updates and service announcements
• Support content development for LinkedIn and website
• Assist with clinical content coordination (blogs, updates, webinars)
Medical Directory & Online Presence Management
• Own and manage the clinic's presence across medical directories (e.g. Healthshare, Healthengine etc.)
• Ensure all listings remain accurate, optimised, and aligned with clinic positioning
• Liaise directly with directory account managers and sales representatives
• Attend regular performance review meetings with directory providers
• Evaluate return on investment (ROI) and lead quality from each platform
• Recommend adjustments to subscriptions, advertising packages, or visibility upgrades based on performance data
Psychiatrist Recruitment Marketing & Coordination
• Lead and coordinate psychiatrist recruitment marketing initiatives across digital channels
• Plan and oversee LinkedIn campaigns, job board strategy, and targeted outreach
• Manage and guide offshore recruitment support staff to ensure timely follow-up and candidate communication
• Oversee employer branding content (LinkedIn posts, recruitment videos, testimonials, campaign messaging)
• Coordinate recruitment events, webinars, and networking initiatives
• Track and report on candidate pipeline metrics (applications, interviews, conversions)
• Optimise recruitment channels based on cost-per-hire and candidate quality
• Support on-site recruitment activities, including attendance at interstate events when required
Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Track marketing campaign performance
• Monitor event ROI and engagement data
• Maintain CRM and referral tracking systems
• Provide regular reports to leadership

Preferred Experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing, business development, or growth coordination (healthcare or professional services preferred)
• Demonstrated experience executing multi-channel marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, events, and outreach activities
• Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Ads, website updates, and performance optimisation
• Experience using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console) to monitor performance and generate actionable insights
• Experience managing Google Business Profile and online directory listings
• Experience coordinating conferences, professional events, or engagement initiatives
• Experience liaising with external providers (e.g. directory account managers, developers)
• Strong visual and content creation skills, including use of Canva or similar design tools to produce professional marketing materials
• Exposure to recruitment marketing, LinkedIn campaigns, or employer branding initiatives (desirable)
• Experience maintaining CRM systems and tracking pipeline or referral metrics
• Healthcare or specialist medical industry experience (highly regarded)
