Butchery Team Member - Multiple Roles Hill Street Grocer | Devonport
We are looking for a Full Time and Part Time/Casual Butchery Team Members to join our team at our beautiful Devonport store.
As a Butchery Team Member, you'll support our butchers in preparing, wrapping, and presenting a wide range of fresh meat and poultry products. You'll maintain clean, well-stocked and attractive displays, ensure products are handled safely, and assist customers with their requests at the counter.

You will need:
* Proven experience in wrapping and packing meat.
* Be skilled in preparing value-added meat products.
* A friendly attitude and strong communication skills
* A love of working with food and people (customers and colleagues alike)
* Energy, initiative, and a willingness to take and give direction
* The ability to follow company procedures and regulatory requirements
* Physical fitness and stamina, enabling you to stand for long periods and perform manual handling, bending and lifting/moving of heavy items.
* Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend. Your standard roster will be agreed based on your availability and our operational requirements, with flexibility to suit your needs.

Pay rates are set by the General Retail Industry Award. The 2025-26 base hourly pay rates for level 1 adults are:
Full time & part time
* Weekdays $26.55
* Saturday $33.19
* Sunday $39.83
Casual
* Weekdays $33.19
* Saturday $39.83
* Sunday $46.46
Additional penalty rates apply to public holidays and some overtime and early morning shifts.
