About the role
Air Control Pty Ltd is seeking a career experienced HVAC Service Co-Ordinator to join our team in Eagleby, Queensland. This full-time role will be responsible for coordinating and managing the service department, scheduling staff and keeping clients happy and well informed. As the HVAC Service Co-Ordinator, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HVAC services.

What you'll be doing
* Scheduling and dispatching HVAC technicians to service and maintain client sites
* Liaising with clients to understand their HVAC service requirements and coordinate visits
* Monitoring and tracking the progress of HVAC service jobs to ensure timely completion
* Providing regular updates to clients on the status of open jobs
* Maintaining detailed records of all HVAC service activities, assets and contracts
* Identifying opportunities to optimize HVAC service delivery and improve client satisfaction
* Parts ordering, troubleshooting and escalation of complex issues
* Basic quoting and assisting with presenting complex quotes with management
* All the functions of a service manager, without the technical support to workers or the need to find new leads (however if you love that part, you do that too!)
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a service coordinator, working specifically in air-conditioning and refrigeration for the full 5 years
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and technicians
* Understand the bottom line and be comfortable taking the lead to manage a well-functioning and well performing department of 4 service technicians, 1 administrator and state and national contracts
* Technical understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues
* The ability to quote for basic HVAC recommendations
* A team player that is happy to adjust to an easy going and happy office environment
* A true understanding of what successful customer service looks and feels like to our clients
* A career HVAC service coordinator that loves their role but is currently looking for more recognition for what they offer their employer
* Someone to hit the ground running, with Aroflo or SimPRO knowledge
* The desire to build better systems, efficient processes and hates wasting time!
