Contract: Max Term 2 years | Monday to Friday
Salary: Base salary up to 180k + STIP 15% + health insurance contributions
What You'll Do
* Lead mechanical design and technical assessments for debottlenecking and modification projects.
* Review and approve engineering deliverables including datasheets, specifications, and layout drawings.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
* Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver integrated design outcomes.
* Support procurement, vendor evaluations, and documentation reviews.
* Participate in HAZOPs, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
* Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and handover.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 8+ years' experience in mechanical engineering within resource or chemical processing industries.
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1210, AS4041, ASME).
* Proven experience with pressure equipment, piping systems, rotating equipment, and layout design.
* Ability to review 3D models and mechanical drawings.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
