The role is for an individual who is committed to child safety and children's welfare and well being whilst providing education and care to children 0-6 years. The successful candidate will be aware of their mandatory reporting responsibilities whilst being supported by experienced and nurturing educators.
The successful candidate must understand and commit to upholding and maintaining a child-safe environment and their responsibilities will include ensuring children's safety through effective supervision practices and following service policies and procedures, raising safety concerns with educators, engaging in professional development and demonstrating a commitment to their study and the profession as a whole.
Candidates that highlight a commitment to protecting and promoting child wellbeing are preferred and those who's approach is aligned with child-safe principles are highly favoured.
