Complex Support Needs Advocate
We seek dedicated and long-term staff to support an individual with complex needs in their home and within the community.
This unique opportunity allows you to work with a compassionate and resilient individual who requires experienced staff who can problem-solve, identify potential incidents, and provide person-centered care.
The successful candidate will be part of a solid team working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our client. Ongoing training, mentoring, and support will be provided.
Key responsibilities include accessing the community, providing in-home supports, setting appointments, building goals and capacities, and assisting with domestic tasks.
Essential criteria include a driver's license, own vehicle, comprehensive car insurance, national police check, NDIS workers screening check, mental health or behaviour support experience, first aid certification (preferred), working with children check, national police certificate, driver's license, and comprehensive car insurance.
Shifts will be available Monday to Friday, with weekend availability and penalty rates applicable.
PPE will be provided, and social distancing procedures will be in place to support staff.
