About You
* You're a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business/Commerce or similar.
* You have over 3 years of experience in public practice.
* You possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
* You have experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for small to medium enterprises.
* A primary production interest and/or experience would be beneficial.
* Experience with tax planning and strategy development is also desirable.
* Proficiency in Xero is an advantage.
The Role
As a Chartered Accountant, you'll:
* Deliver financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, and interim financial statements for clients.
* Develop expertise in efficient tax strategies, preparing forecasts, reporting, and advice on business structures.
* Present financial performance to clients.
* Review other team members' financials, providing feedback on quality and efficiency.
* Identify potential opportunities that Dodgshun Medlin could assist our clients with.
* Support team training and mentoring, including transfer of technical skills and knowledge.
