The role calls for a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial insight, and leadership.Key Responsibilities:• Commercial Strategy Development: Identify commercial growth opportunities and risks, and develop strategies that align with broader organisational goals.• High-Value Negotiations: Lead the negotiation of complex contractual matters, securing optimal commercial outcomes through timely and strategic resolution of claims.• Contract Management: Advise project teams on commercial terms, pricing models, and contractual provisions to ensure sound delivery.• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support successful project outcomes.• Leadership & Development: Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team, promoting innovation, accountability, and adaptability.Key Requirements:• Tertiary qualifications in law, engineering, construction, or a related field.• Minimum of 8 years' experience managing large-scale infrastructure contracts.• Proven experience in handling complex claims, including variations, time extensions, and entitlement assessments.• Demonstrated experience working with dispute resolution boards and negotiating Deeds of Settlement and Release.• Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.Why Join?This organisation fosters an inclusive and forward-looking environment that values professional development and employee well-being.
