We are proud to be partnering with a global FMCG organisation to appoint a Regional HR Manager – APAC. With established, operations in Australia (up to 200 employees) and a long-standing global presence, this organisation is recognised for its deep expertise, collaborative culture and strong values-led approach.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Global Chief People & Communications Officer and partnering closely with the APAC Managing Director, this role leads end-to-end HR delivery across the region. Balancing operational HR leadership with strategic input, you will be responsible for implementing the global people strategy, frameworks programs and policies in a way that is practical, well governed and aligned to regional needs. You will play a visible role within the business, supporting leaders on complex people matters and contributing to leadership capability uplift across the region.
Key aspects of the role include
* Providing end-to-end HR advice across the employee lifecycle for a multi-site APAC workforce.
* Leading the local implementation of global HR frameworks, policies and programs.
* Managing people-related change and internal communication across the region.
* Ensuring consistency, efficiency and cultural alignment across HR practices.
* Leading one direct report (payroll)
* While based at HQ Melbourne, regular interstate travel is required.
About You
* Experience working within a global organisation with local operations.
* A strong background in multi-site, operational HR roles with end-to-end accountability, including payroll oversight, employee and industrial relations, talent acquisition, change, engagement and capability.
* Experience in FMCG, agribusiness, manufacturing or production environments.
* An interest in, and capability to manage, internal communications.
* A pragmatic, hands-on approach, with the confidence to contribute at the leadership table.
* A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at executive level.
* A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent.
