Arafura Crash Repairs' is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Trades Assistant / Fitter to join our team in Winnellie, NT. In this full-time role, you will provide valuable support to our experienced mechanics and technicians, contributing to the efficient repair and maintenance of vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Assisting mechanics and technicians with various repair and maintenance tasks
* Gathering and organising tools, parts and equipment required for each job
* Performing basic maintenance and cleaning duties on vehicles
* Ensuring the work area is kept clean, organised and safe at all times
* Following all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and others
* Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with the team
What Werom Looking For
* Some experience in a similar trades or automotive assistant role
* Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
* A valid driver's licence
