This position is full-time.EducationThe Department of Paediatric Urology at the Royal Children’s Hospital is the largest in Australia with 1000 surgical procedure, 3200 outpatients per year. The Paediatric Urology Fellowship Program seeks to recruit the best candidates and provide them the educational foundation for a successful career. We seek to prepare our Fellows for their lifelong educational and professional journey in Paediatric Urology by:Sharing knowledge from the dedicated facultyDeveloping surgical and patient care skills in an environment fostering progressive responsibility in patient management under appropriate supervisionDemonstrating interpersonal and communication skills necessary to effectively interact with patients, peers, and others.Teaching that will help them appraise and improve their own patient care, assess and assimilate new scientific knowledge, and contribute through research to the science of the profession.Promoting professional ideals and adherence to ethical principlesPreparing future Paediatric Urologists to effectively interact in an increasingly complex health care systemFor a detailed copy of the Position Description please click here .Please note: The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal Record Check and a Working with Children Check.
