You will assist in the planning, execution, and close-out of capital and sustaining projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the planning and execution of electrical projects across mine sites (e.g. power distribution, HV/LV systems, substations, plant upgrades).
* Support project scheduling, cost tracking, progress reporting, and documentation.
* Coordinate with site operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors.
* Review technical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
* Assist with procurement activities, including RFQs, technical evaluations, and material tracking.
* Participate in site inspections, commissioning activities, and handovers.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, site engineering standards, and statutory requirements.
* Promote and adhere to site safety, health, and environmental procedures at all times.
* Identify and escalate technical or schedule risks to senior engineers or project managers.

Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* 1–3 years' experience in an engineering, project, or site-based role (mining or heavy industry experience advantageous but not essential).
* Understanding of electrical systems commonly used in mining or industrial environments.
* Familiarity with Australian Standards and WA mining safety regulations is desirable.
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office; exposure to project management or scheduling software is an advantage.

Skills & Attributes

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a site-based team environment.
* Willingness to learn and take direction from senior engineers and supervisors.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
* Safety-focused mindset with a proactive approach to risk management.
* Ability to work FIFO or remote site rosters, as required.

What We Offer

* Exposure to large-scale mining projects in Western Australia.
* Mentorship and development from experienced project and electrical engineers.
* Clear pathways for professional development and career progression.
* Competitive remuneration and site allowances.
