Job Title: Government Leader
This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to serve as the chief administrative officer of a city. The Government Leader plays a key role in leading the municipal government and overseeing the delivery of traditional municipal services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and administering the annual operating budget and capital expenditures
* Providing strategic recommendations to senior officials on policy matters
* Representing the city in intergovernmental initiatives and meetings
* Supervising multiple directors who oversee various departments such as Administrative Services, Community Services, Public Works, and Public Safety
Requirements:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
* A master's degree in public administration, business administration, urban planning, or a related field
* At least five years of progressively responsible public sector managerial experience, preferably as a city administrator/manager or assistant city administrator/manager
* ICMA Credentialed Manager certification preferred
Benefits:
