Industrial Automation Engineer Position
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation systems. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering technical project work and services in accordance with contract, quality, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Execution: Assist in project/service planning and task estimation, ensuring timely completion of projects while meeting quality and budget targets.
* Technical Expertise: Contribute to specifications, functional descriptions, and manuals, leveraging your knowledge of industrial automation systems and digital solutions.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
* Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date technical skills and contribute to innovation and process improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous growth and excellence in industrial automation engineering.
* Customer Focus: Manage customer expectations and relationships professionally, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
About the Role
* Education and Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership (MIEAust, TIEAust, AIEAust, or Chartered).
* Experience: 4+ years of experience in industrial automation engineering, including digital solutions and networking, telemetry, information management system projects and/or services.
* Skills and Knowledge: Advanced understanding of various Schneider platforms and a general understanding of the whole Industry product offer, or equivalent competitor products, along with detailed knowledge of theory relevant to the position (process control, telemetry, digital solutions, and communication/info system).
