The family are looking for someone who can become a trusted, consistent presence in the children’s lives. The children are aged 8 and 6 and both attend school. This role combines childcare with household management and will suit someone confident managing routines, supporting emotional development, and proactively running a calm, organised home. The family also have a German Shepherd, so applicants should be comfortable with dogs! We are looking for a mature nanny who can provide structure while keeping the house organised and managing daily routines. The family are seeking a nurturing, warm maternal person to become a trusted extension of the family. It is important that you are proactive, reliable and can take initiative. Days and Hours required: Monday to Friday Morning: 6.30AM – 9.30AM Afternoon: 3.15PM – 7.15PM There is some flexibility with the schedule An additional 5 hours per week are included for household support tasks. Salary: $40–$45 per hour Super Responsibilities include: Childcare and Family Support: Management of morning routines including breakfast and school preparation School drop-offs and pick-ups Homework support, reading and activities Transport to extracurricular activities and sports Wind-down and bedtime routines Providing overnight care when travel is required Household Management: Meal planning and cooking Grocery shopping, errands and picking up household essentials Laundry Managing household tasks independently House duties as required This role would suit a career nanny or household manager who is switched on, calm and proactive, with a genuine love for supporting children and helping a household thrive!
