We are seeking
An Individual to support our Management team in the day-to-day coordination of job flow, scheduling, Purchasing and master data activities.
This role is well suited to a mechanically minded, or a technically minded coordinator, who enjoys working closely within a team environment delivering drive and motion systems to the Mining, marine and Industrial sectors. You will play a key role in ensuring we deliver our drive system to our customers on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Operations team, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting daily scheduling activities and the smooth flow of work through the workshop
* Maintaining and updating job schedules, trackers, and status reports
* Assisting with job readiness by checking drawings, BOMs, and material sourcing and availability prior to release
* Liaising with stores, purchasing, and workshop personnel to follow up on missing or delayed materials
* Responding to internal enquiries regarding job status and timelines
* Assisting with general coordination and administrative tasks as required
About You
You will ideally have:
* A qualification (or experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline OR relevant experience in a Power transmission, Fluid Power or Industrial manufacturing role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confidence communicating with both workshop and office-based teams
* A practical, hands-on mindset and willingness to learn
* Strong Excel skills and comfort working with tracking systems (ERP experience highly regarded but not essential)
* Intermediate Excel proficiency including formulas and data analysis capabilities
* 1-2 years of experience in production planning or purchasing
* Australian work authorisation must be held at the time of application
