Oversee pastry production for multiple venues and a wholesale network. Lead and mentor a passionate pastry team to foster a positive kitchen culture. Design and execute seasonal menus and rotating pastry specials whilst maintaining efficiency, consistency and high standards in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate across the business to drive creativity and business development. Champion the values of quality, excellence and sustainability in everything produced. What do you need? 3 years experience in a senior pastry role. Previous wholesale or multi-site production experience (preferred!). Strong expertise in laminated pastry and yeasted breads, combined with a creative flair and passion for innovation. Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for mentoring a young team. Organised and process-driven, with confidence using systems such as Excel, ERP and Deputy. Proven ability to manage production planning and scale operations. Passionate about professional growth and business development, with a drive to make your mark in Melbourne’s competitive hospitality scene.
