Role Overview
Full-Time | Permanent | Dandenong South
Bring your technical skills to a role where no two days are the same At KOR, we're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician who's ready to tackle everything from pre-delivery fit-outs to custom metal fabrication. You'll be part of a dynamic team, working with cutting-edge equipment to ensure we deliver top-notch products to our customers efficiently and cost-effectively meeting deadlines. Your expertise will ensure our fleet is always operating at peak performance, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities will include:
* Maintenance, repair, installation and overhaul of heavy vehicles and machinery.
* Multitask day to day pre delivery tasks, install tow bars and bull bars on trucks, assist with pump upgrades, OEM reworks, safety reworks, parts fit out.
* Manufacture metal components for stock and on demand using our in-house laser cutter, brake press and welding equipment. Adequate training will be provided to the right candidate with a can-do attitude.
Skills & Person, we're looking for:
* Mechanical Expertise: You should ideally hold a Trade Certificate – Engineering/ Mechanical background and bring hands-on mechanical experience to the table
* Cross Skilled and basic knowledge: in areas of fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, general maintenance, crane operation, lifting procedures, laser cutting and brake press operations
* Industry Knowledge: A solid grasp of industrial equipment is a significant advantage.
* Troubleshooting & fault findings experience (Field Service background highly regarded)
* Effective Communicator: Confidence in communication is key.
* Team player and Autonomous worker
* Personal Traits: We value reliability, strong work ethic and a keen learner with good attention to detail)
