Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead marketing for our solar and battery business and support future expansion. This role blends hands-on content creation and campaign execution with brand leadership and performance marketing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being the creative go-to while still driving measurable growth.
As our Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing strategy end-to-end, from content and campaigns to brand management, advertising performance, and market insights while working closely with the sales and management team to bring the AR Energy brand to life.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Creative Leadership
* Act as the creative go-to within the business, shaping how the brand looks, sounds, and communicates
* Create, manage, and schedule content across digital channels (website, social, email, ads)
* Develop scripts for video, ads, and educational content
* Edit marketing assets including short-form video, graphics, and basic photography (videography a bonus, not essential)
* Design and produce marketing materials using Canva and other creative tools
Advertising & Campaign Management
* Plan, design, and run marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels
* Manage digital advertising, with strong working knowledge of Meta Ads advantageous
* Test, optimise, and report on ad performance to improve lead quality and ROI
* Support campaign execution for promotions, launches, and new brand initiatives
SEO & Website Performance
* Track and monitor SEO performance, keyword rankings, and website traffic
* Work with internal teams or external providers to improve organic visibility and conversion
* Ensure all content remains accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging
Brand & Multi-Brand Management
* Help develop and maintain strong brand identity across all customer touchpoints (e.g. Social Media, Websites, Newsletters etc.)
* Support branding and brand management for the core solar and battery brand
* Assist with the development and rollout of future brands or sub-brands, ensuring consistency and clarity
* Maintain brand guidelines and ensure correct use across campaigns and assets
Market Research & Insights
* Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps
* Use customer insights to inform content, campaigns, and messaging
* Support strategic decisions around positioning, pricing narratives, and new offerings
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a marketing role with strong content and campaign ownership highly desirable
* Hands-on skills in content creation, editing, and design (Canva experience essential)
* Experience managing or supporting paid ads, particularly Meta
* Strong written communication skills, including script-writing and copy
* Understanding of SEO tracking and performance reporting
* Comfortable working across multiple projects and brands in a growing business
