Job Opportunity

This role requires the ability to critically evaluate clinical information to advocate for best practice treatment and timely recovery.

You will be working as part of a passionate team of allied health professionals who will provide you with support to learn and thrive in this demanding yet exciting role.


Your Responsibilities:

* Work alongside claims team leaders and technical advisors to create high-performing teams that deliver positive outcomes to injured individuals.
* Review claim files and provide subject matter expertise, including interpreting medical reports, providing injury management advice, and determining rehabilitation and treatment requirements.
* Prepare professional written and verbal advice on reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation services, and recommendations for future rehabilitation management.
* Provide consistent injury management expertise to ensure ongoing quality decisions and contribute to claims strategy.
* Share knowledge, coach, and mentor colleagues to develop independent injury management capabilities.
* Build relationships with best-in-class treatment and service providers to assist injured individuals meet their recovery goals.
* Support the injury management team leader to identify development opportunities and trends to improve individual and team performance and claim outcomes.


Your Qualifications and Skills:

* A degree in an allied health-related discipline is mandatory.
* A minimum of two years of clinical experience or occupational rehabilitation experience is desirable.
* Ability to independently prioritize work.
* Ability to use technology platforms effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner and within delegated authority.
* Willingness to develop skills to manage difficult conversations with injured individuals, external health professionals, and legal professionals.
