Position Overview:
* Spearheading sales strategy and execution for the Adelaide region
* Building and nurturing relationships with key clients across Civil, Construction, and Major infrastructure Projects.
* Identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into loyal customers
* Collaborating with leadership to shape branch operations and team structure
* Representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue opportunities for dry hire Equipment
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Understand client needs and provide tailored equipment hire and sales solutions
* Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and best terms
* Prepare and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed performance targets
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes, and sales activity through a dedicated CRM system.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and after-sales support to drive retention
* Represent the business professionally in all client and supplier interactions
Key Selection Criteria:
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Essential:
* 5 years experience with proven track record in sales within construction equipment or a related industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated with a high level of energy and a results-driven mindset
* Comfortable with cold outreach.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated ability to create, manage and grow client relationships
* A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a focus on outcomes
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence
Desirable:
* Experience in dry hire equipment sales or rental
* Knowledge of construction and earthmoving equipment
* Experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role. B2B experience is a plus
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
