They are looking for a Lead to head up their structures team, reporting directly to the business Directors and ensuring both technical and commercial success. Why this role? You’ll own decisions, manage budgets, and drive the business plan. Client & Project Direction: You will act as Project Director on complex, large-scale projects, building lasting client relationships and leading proposals to secure new work. Key Responsibilities People Management: Coach, mentor, and build the technical capability of the engineering team. Business Development: Identify key clients, develop relationship strategies, and lead teams to deliver winning proposals. Commercial Control: Manage business planning, budgeting, project financials, and timely invoicing. Technical Quality: Guide project teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while verifying structural designs and reports for quality control. Project Direction: Assume Project Director responsibilities for complex structures and bridge projects. About You Bachelor of Engineering and CPEng status. Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role within structural or bridge engineering. Strong commercial acumen and project management skills, with a solid understanding of project financials. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
