The Position:
As a Social Worker you will be responsible for the delivery of effective Social Work services that support improved health outcomes for clients. Your work will include crisis intervention, counselling, casework, case coordination, group work, client advocacy, advanced care planning, effective discharge planning and participation in quality improvement activities.
The Department:
The BRHS Social Work team provides a diverse range of services across the Health Service including to the acute and sub-acute units, Dialysis, Oncology, Emergency Department and Community Health. Services include psychosocial assessments, complex discharge planning, loss and grief counselling, advocacy, practical and emotional support, child protection and services to residential aged care.
Salary is dependent on experience with a base salary range of Grade 2, Year 1 $86,730 Year 4 $99,699.

Key criteria you need:
10. A tertiary qualification in Social Work
11. Minimum of 4 years' experience in social work.
12. Demonstrated professional competencies in undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments, clinical reasoning, and formulating targeted treatment plans/interventions with achievable goals for clients.
13. Demonstrated knowledge of the application of social work theory, practice frameworks and principles, in the context of evidence based practice (EBP) for the current health care environment.
