With a strong focus on D&C projects, their national delivery portfolio includes commercial workplace, industrial, universities, hospitals/specialist medical, hotels/pubs & clubs, shopping centres, and standalone retail/fast food centres.
With approximately 75% of their being negotiated directly with repeat clients, they have successfully delivered projects for institutional private sector and public sector clients including Goodman, Ramsay Health, Frasers Property, Stockland, The University of QLD, Mater Health, Bunnings, Vicinity Centres, Brisbane Airport Corp, ALH, Aus Venue Co, and various Gov Depts. just to name a few.
*The Role:*As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of on-site works, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This will include maintaining WHS standards and quality control on-site while managing subcontractors and suppliers.
You will also be tasked with handling issues throughout the project delivery process, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, scopes, codes, and regulations.
Please note that the client is looking for Site Managers for both Brisbane & Gold Coast offices.
*Reporting to:Construction Manager / Project Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Manage dispute resolution between clients and subcontractors
* Coordinate trade letting and variation works between clients and subcontractors
* Implement and maintain OH&S standards onsite
* Compile Site Safety Plans and develop Risk Registers for high-risk works
* Manage and coordinate project site team whilst maintaining HIGH level of associated paperwork control
* Engage and liaise with key project stakeholders including clients, designers, facility managers, consultants and tenants
*Qualifications and Requirements:*
* Trade/qualification in Building, Construction or similar
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial projects valued up to 10mil - fitout, refurb, and/or new build
* Strong understanding of technical commercial construction methodologies and relevant building codes/standards
* Experience working in a client facing capacity, managing a variety of key project stakeholders
