Senior Designer (Civil & Road)
Be Engineering Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer (Civil & Road) to join our dynamic team in our Adelaide office. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a diverse range of civil engineering projects.
What you'll be doing
* Undertake detailed design and drafting for civil and road infrastructure projects
* Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements
* Provide technical advice and support to project managers and client stakeholders
* Mentor and guide more junior design team members
* Assist in the development and implementation of engineering standards and best practices
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience in delivery of design projects for local government and Department of Infrastructure and Transport
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or 12D, and other design software.
* Strong technical knowledge of civil and road engineering principles, standards, and regulations
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Minimum 5 years design experience in the infrastructure industry
