About the Role:
As the Team Leader Works, you will oversee the Council's municipal operations, which include maintaining parks, open spaces, sports grounds, and cemeteries. You will also manage the Council's fleet, plant, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should ideally have:
A current White Card and relevant plant operation certifications
A valid NT (LR/MR Class) Driver's Licence
At least two years of experience in a similar position
The ability to complete Working with Children and Criminal History Checks
An understanding of cultural sensitivities and awareness of Aboriginal traditions is vital, as 80% of MacDonnell Regional Council's workforce identifies as Aboriginal.
