Join us for a dynamic career where you can make a real impact.You can learn more about us here: https://www.trideca.com.au/About the roleA Scrum Master is responsible for managing agile forums & artefacts, escalating to scrum of scrums & coaching of squads on agile best practices.What is expected from the scrum master?Scrum Master Is Responsible ForManaging agile forums & artefacts.Administrate work for the squads.Coach squads on best practices and ways of workingEscalating & resolving blockers in SOSWhat am I expected to do as a scrum masterResponsible for administrative work related to the work the squad is delivering (e.g. Risk & Security Assessments & approvals), help eliminate any blockers impeding the progress of the squadParticipates in twice weekly Scrum of scrums for all squads on the developing stage of features for a single Business Outcome with associated Scrum Masters/RTEs to remove blockersCoaches & lead squads on best practice agile ways of workingFosters an environment of high performance, continuous flow and relentless improvementFacilitates agile forums & manages squad artefacts including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros & showcasesEnsures consistency of delivery practices across squad retros & showcasesEnsure consistent delivery practices across squadsCoaches Squads on Ways of working & agile practicesFosters an environment of high performance, continuous flow and relentless improvementCoach & lead squads on best practices agile ways of workingEscalate & resolve blockers for squads in SOSParticipates in twice weekly Scrum of Scrums for all squads in developing stage of features for a single business outcome with associate Scrum Masters to remove blockersA Scrum Master is responsible for 2 squadsKey AccountabilitiesCoach, support & mentor scrum framework practices across the squadLead and facilitate agile forumsBe the driving force and guide teams to be self-organised, promote a collaborative team environment that foster creativity, innovation,continuous improvement and celebrate successesEnsure the Squad is equipped with the right talent, time, tools and skills to do their work, with leaders expected to manage resources(people, budgets, assets) and coach teams to build competence and confidence.Gather, analyse, and present data to business stakeholders in a way that demonstrates how the team is improving and growingCollaborate with Product Owners to maximise productivity and to ensure effective backlog managementManage and build strong, trusted relationships with Engineers and Product Owners to track status of implementation and improverequirements and visionMaintain sprint flow by minimising external disturbances, manage risks or impediments and remove blockers and hurdlesLead a Scrum process in a highly complex environment (e.g. lower team maturity in Scrum and Agile, higher regulatory compliance and policy alignment requirements, wider range of dependencies, amount or seniority of stakeholders)Engage with stakeholders outside of the allocated squad to ensure the Scrum process is s successful and adopted within the allocated SquadOur ValuesClients Come FirstWe obsess over our clients; they mean everything to us and are central to everything we do.
