Aircraft maintenance engineers are pivotal to ensuring aircraft airworthiness. As an aviation maintenance expert, you will be responsible for scheduled servicing and unscheduled maintenance on various systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical specialists: Maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic, and propulsion systems, related components, and propellers.
* Avionic specialists: Inspect, maintain, and diagnose avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
* Structures specialists: Oversee production, maintenance, and repair of composite materials, sheet metal, and components.
* Armament specialists: Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems, and aircraft weapon systems.
About the Role
* Must hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification.
* Be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain federal security clearance.
* Have experience or a strong interest in working with defence military aircraft.
* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment.
