Regional Delivery Manager Australia Job Description

As a key leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of local Global IM requirements while governing the Global IM Framework implementation on an operational level. This involves leveraging Global services and standards to deliver an optimal SMC IM model.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the delivery of IT projects and services in the Australia region
* Serving as the business relationship conduit for allocated region stakeholders - SMC Lead
* Developing three to five year horizon views to ensure IM strategies and investments align with business priorities in line with Global IM Framework ensuring SMC business needs (Outlook and Planning : 2-5 years)
* Optimizing the performance, cost & demand (quality and volume) of service within the economic context and approved budgets
* Providing highly-valued consulting level support and guidance through key IM initiatives
* Collaborating with regional stakeholders to align IT initiatives and implementations with business objectives
* Leading IT professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Ensuring project governance and adherence to project management methodologies
* Assessing project performance metrics and addressing any issues or risks
* Fostering strong relationships with regional clients and stakeholders
* Driving efficiencies and optimisation opportunities
* Aligning IM Regional and Global Strategies to SMC business strategies
Qualifications:
An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and/or Technical is required.
Desirable qualifications include: Postgraduate qualification in the related IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a similar complex role, preferred. Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development is also necessary.

* Delve Regional Hub portfolio series including commercial, operational technology contractual, financial, and organisational aspects
