We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join our growing team, based in Keilor Park, VIC with frequent travel to other VIC and interstate locations.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be experienced in all facets of Human Resources and possess an in-depth understanding of Industrial Relations. You will have a desire to work closely with internal stakeholders in an organisation that works across the utilities, construction and resource industries.
Job Details
* Permanent full‐time position.
* 40 hours per week, Monday‐to‐Friday roster.
* Part of a team of 7 experienced HR professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
* Provide sound advice and facilitate Human Resources activities throughout the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, engagement, remuneration & benefits, payroll, performance, training & development, succession planning, separation).
* Develop, implement and maintain registers, HRMS systems, policies, and procedures.
* Support HR projects and workforce initiatives as required.
* Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements, relevant legislation, and provide advice as required.
* Assist with HR and payroll related queries, as required.
* Support and guide stakeholders at various levels within your dedicated business units.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent industry experience.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
* Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
* Experience with the administration of HR and IR strategies.
* Knowledge of relevant legislative, governance and compliance requirements.
* Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
* Experience with HR systems and tools.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Well‐developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
* Ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing priorities.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in utilities, resources, or construction industries.
* Experience liaising and working with unions, Workcover & the Fair Work Commission to deliver positive business and employee outcomes.
* Skilled and experienced in administering HR strategies in complex and diverse organisations.
