The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for multiple opportunities for Team Members to join the production team based in Novar Gardens. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
No previous operations or manufacturing experience? No problem - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing support to help you build a long-term career with us.
Our newly established facility offers a premium fit-out with modern equipment and facilities. Our Operations Team Members come from all walks of life, and we value the diverse skills, experiences, and backgrounds each person brings. There are multiple full-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunities available, offering a weekly rate of approximately $1,064, with the ability to progress to approximately $1,100 within 6 months. You will also be eligible for overtime and quarterly performance bonuses. Afternoon shifts include a 15% allowance.
Our operations run 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, with vacancies available across Day (6:30 am–2:30 pm) and Afternoon (2:30 pm–10:30 pm) shifts. A variety of shift patterns to suit different lifestyles, including family and school-friendly hours.
Our Information Session and Site Tour will provide you with valuable insight into the role, the facility, and what it's like to be part of our team.

What Will You Do?
In this role, you will be part of the team producing our high-quality steel products, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail to ensure only the finest quality is delivered – on time, every time.
Your day-to-day work can include:
* supporting and promoting a safe working environment
* operating machinery to process and manufacture our products
* operating equipment such as forklift and cranes
* packing, strapping, and monitoring products to ensure quality control
Some positions may involve lifting and manual handling, as well as exposure to noise. We ensure that all our employees are supported with the necessary training, guidance, and equipment to complete all tasks safely.
