Service Delivery Director – Brisbane Youth Service

The Service Delivery Director will shape outcomes for vulnerable young people across Brisbane, playing a central role in the Executive Leadership Team and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership across a broad service footprint that includes housing and tenancy supports, early intervention and prevention, domestic and family violence responses, young families services, and multidisciplinary health partnerships.
Guide senior leaders to deliver integrated, evidence-informed programs that respond to the needs of young people and their children.
Shape organisational culture, strengthen quality and compliance, and ensure governance, risk and performance oversight meet the expectations of the CEO, Board, community and government partners.
Maintain a steady, emotionally intelligent presence, communicate with clarity and respect, build strong relationships, and adopt a consultative, inclusive approach to leadership.
Prepare clear, concise and compelling reporting for the Board and engage constructively in high-level decision making.
Qualifications and experience
Executive level experience within community services, youth services, social housing or human services sectors.
Deep understanding of the issues facing young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Comfort navigating complex funding arrangements, contractual obligations, accreditation frameworks and risk environments.
Strong connection to frontline work realities and ability to translate strategy into practice.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding, reconciliation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
