About the role
SWK has a rewarding opportunity for a Concrete Finisher to join the team.
Concrete Finishers are considered to be experienced kerb workers with the ability to work independently on a range of site-based duties.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a concrete finisher to carry out a variety of tasks including:
* Finishing and curing concrete with slurry
* Set up string line, heights and levels
* Working with Extruder and Slipform machines
* Detailed kerb works including cutdowns and laybacks
* Use of all tools associated with concreting
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
* 3+ years' experience as a Concrete Finisher
* Strong understanding of site preparation, levels and set out
* Strong understanding of standard TfNSW and Council profiles
* Experience working with Slipform machines is highly regarded but not essential
* Ability to work with a team and independently
* A valid Construction White Card
* Ability to travel to the Yard (Narellan) or site
* Working safely and complying with all site safety standards
* Working rights in Australia
