Overview
AWX is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Labourers to join our energetic team in Cairns and surrounding areas. We offer exciting short- and long-term opportunities across a variety of industries including landscaping, civil and building construction, warehousing and manufacturing for applicants that are self-motivated and bring a positive CAN DO attitude to the team. These roles will be on a Casual basis as needed by our clients. You need to have the ability to commence immediately. A main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive "CAN DO" attitude and be self-motivated.
Role Requirements
- Current Drivers Licence
- Own Transport
- Current Construction White Card
- Must reside in the Cairns area
- Demonstrated Labouring Experience
Generic Requirements
- Own PPE including long sleeve high vis, hard hat, steel capped boots and safety glasses
- Physically capable for manual duties
- Ability to work long hours
- A quick learner who can think on their feet
- Reliable and flexible
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and with others
