Are you a detail-oriented, hands-on logistics professional looking for a dynamic role in the aviation industry? Suncoast Aero Engines, a division of the Sigma Aerospace Group, is seeking a dedicated Freight & Logistics Coordinator to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
What You'll Do
* Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight, including engines and parts
* Process and document all shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Pack and unpack engines and distribute freight to relevant departments
* Open jobs and create work packs in Aerotrack
* Maintain the freight and engine core register, keeping records up to date
* Support quality assurance and assist with internal and external audits
* Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational
* Assist in maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient work environment
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in logistics, freight handling, or warehousing
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely
* Familiarity with Aerotrack or similar systems (preferred but not essential)
* Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
* Commitment to quality, safety, and process improvement
