Engineering Role at a Leading Snack Company
We are seeking a skilled Capital Electrical and Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading capital projects at our manufacturing site in Tasmania, ensuring the successful implementation of upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage capital projects from initial planning to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.
* Advise and support other capital engineering team members on electrical and automation decisions within other projects.
* Collaborate with reliability engineers and operational teams to meet project, maintenance, and operational needs.
Requirements:
* Technical expertise across engineering disciplines, with high expertise in one or more domains, such as industrial networking and cybersecurity, industrial control systems, regulatory compliance, electrical power systems, quality management, process knowledge, and manufacturing key performance indicators.
* 5-10 years' industry experience, preferably in the food industry.
* Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement skills.
* Significant project engineering and management experience.
* Experience in people management, leadership, and development.
