Role Description
This is a contract role for an Automotive Quality Engineer. The position is on-site and located in the Charlotte Metro area. The Automotive Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of automotive products, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Additional duties include analyzing data, implementing corrective actions, and reporting quality performance metrics.
Qualifications
* Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Auditing skills
* Knowledge of automotive industry standards like ISO/TS 16949 and other regulatory requirements
* Strong analytical skills for data analysis and problem-solving
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with various quality management tools and software
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred
* Experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus
