What You'll Be Doing
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high level executive, administrative and operational support to the Director Nursing and Midwifery and the broader Nursing and Midwifery Directorate. You will manage competing priorities, coordinate activities and ensure efficient office operations.
* Manage complex diaries, meetings and executive correspondence
* Prepare reports, presentations, agendas and meeting minutes
* Coordinate documentation, records management and HPRM processes
* Provide administrative support for committees, projects and governance activities
* Maintain efficient office systems and ensure timely responses to priority matters

* Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to prepare and review complex correspondence within a senior executive environment.
* Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative assistance and support to a senior executive in a complex and busy environment, supported by a demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative and judgement.
* Proven high level organisation skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to independently and effectively manage the diary and emails of a busy senior executive and competently make decisions and progress issues on their behalf.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and advice and use discretion in knowing when to elevate matters of importance and/or urgency.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as conscientiously working to team goals and values. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to exercise sound judgement in challenging or difficult situations.
* Advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of office products and ability to effectively utilise an electronic document management system, such as HP Records Manager.
