Located in the coastal town of Bowen in the Whitsundays, Bolton Clarke's Cunningham Villas provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, tropical residential environment.
Role
Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the busFolding and unfolding mobility aidsStaying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needsEngaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outingAiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussedDeliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customersDrive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all times
Qualifications
LR class licence for driving buses of 22 passenger capacity or lessPrevious experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)Complete a police check
