The PositionDue to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the Toowoomba Region on a permanent basis. You will work closely with our project management team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key capabilities and requirements include:
* Review and process contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
* Monitor project progress and report on key milestones.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
* Assist in cost control and budget management.
* Resolve construction-related issues and conflicts effectively.
* Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
* Participate in site inspections and quality control checks.
The Candidate
* Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
* Previous experience in a similar role in the construction industry is a plus.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software is preferred.
* Knowledge of the current D&BP Act, construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Ability to work well in a team and independently.
* Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
