2. Located in Eveleigh with flexible working arrangements, requiring three days in the office
3. Salary ranges from $99,938 to $110,271 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The Executive Support Officer sits within the Technology Enablement Services team in the Operations Group and provides high-quality executive and administrative support to the Executive Director (Technology Enablement) and the Technology Enablement Directors. The role supports day-to-day business operations, enables effective workflow management, and contributes to a high-performing team by delivering excellent customer service and driving continuous service improvement.

Your responsibilities:

4. Prioritise requests to maximise the Executive Director's time and support Directors across Technology Enablement.
5. Coordinate diaries, meetings, committees and travel (including regional trips) to ensure smooth executive operations and support for digital learning in schools.
6. Prepare clear correspondence, agendas, minutes and briefing materials to inform executive decisions.
7. Drive project and operational support by tracking actions, monitoring progress and assisting digital and Stem.T4L teams.
8. Act as the business-facing contact for the IT Directorate, building strong relationships and delivering customer-focused support.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement projects to build operational capability.

About you

You bring:

10. Experience in executive or senior administrative support in a fast-paced environment
11. Ability to manage complex diaries, competing priorities and confidential matters
12. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders
13. Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks across projects and operations
14. Confidence using Microsoft 365, digital tools and departmental systems
15. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
