Join our Deal Management team, within the wider Group Treasury Operations group, who are responsible for successful balance sheet operations (including funding, settlements and FX support) on behalf of Macquarie Asset Management and Macquarie Capital. Our team manages all on-going global transactions throughout their lifecycle from pre-settlement to termination.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will take responsibility for deal support, including initial operational setup, managing life-cycle event transactions, and addressing related queries from both internal and external stakeholders. You will support daily operations by facilitating internal and external cash transactions, coordinating funding requirements to ensure smooth financial operations, and providing support for the execution of foreign exchange trades. Additionally, you will assist with various reporting requirements to help maintain accurate financial records. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to manage operational support requirements.

You will be encouraged to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives—such as leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) solutions—to streamline operations and boost productivity, while also supporting team performance management and development to drive overall success.

What you offer

* 1+ years prior experience in an operations, finance or related role
* A passion for financial markets and a desire to build a career in the financial services industry
* Strong attention to detail, combined with demonstrated ability to work well to deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional communication and prioritisation skills
* An innovative and transformational mindset, ready to drive change and challenge the status quo
* Analytical thinker and self-motivated with the ability to navigate ambiguity
* Tertiary degree in Commerce or a business-related area is highly regarded
* Experience using analytical software such as Alteryx, Power BI as well as platforms that leverage AI is valuable.
