Pirtek is Proudly Australian, with over 46 years in the business, specialising in mobile "on-site" service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings. Reporting to the CSR Sales Manager, the CSR will be an independent, motivated and enthusiastic sales representative who will continue to develop and manage the existing customer base while building new business prospects at the Pirtek Singleton franchise locations. Key functions include sales growth and business development, supporting the execution of channel plans through Pirtek Singleton's sales and marketing teams by engaging directly with customers to achieve marketing, sales and profit goals.
Key responsibilities
* Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of Pirtek Singleton customers, understanding their needs and expanding relationships by proposing value-adding solutions that meet business objectives.
* Accountable for sales development of the market segment at the Singleton Franchise location.
* Analyse the market segment within the assigned territory to identify potential and existing customer accounts with opportunities for Pirtek Fluid Systems products and services.
* Implement direct sales strategies to obtain business from new and existing accounts via a proactive approach.
* Collaborate with franchises to build sales, profitability, promotional and technical expertise.
* Complete all weekly and monthly reports by the due date; manage records securely and keep the CRM and sales pipelines up to date.
* Achieve sales targets as set by the CSR Sales Manager for the assigned market sector and territory.
* Manage the sales opportunity pipeline to increase sales within existing customers and grow new customers.
* Develop, plan and execute new customer acquisition strategies.
* Travel approximately 4 days on the road (customer engagement) and 1 day in the office (administration tasks) to complete customer call cycles with planned visitation and cold calling components.
* Operate within provided account discount structures and trading terms; implement contract guidelines.
* Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to roll out product promotions and ensure campaigns are well executed.
* Manage customer expectations and promote the sale of products and services as preferred solutions, aiming for market leadership and revenue growth with gross margin focus.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential
* Driver's license (Essential) and right to work in Australia
* Available full-time
* Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and work ethic; professional appearance and presentation
* Ability to represent Pirtek confidently and willingness to undertake training
Desirable Experience
* Entry-level sales (0–5 years) in an industrial environment (B2B/B2C); relevant training provided
* Solution-selling and fluid-handling sales
* Hands-on trade background in industrial vehicle, construction, or automotive environments
* CRM system experience
