Role Overview
Lead patient flow nursing expertise across CALHN, optimizing bed capacity and delivering safe and timely care. Oversee interfacility transfers, patient moves, and collaborate with senior clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Optimize bed capacity and patient flow across CALHN.
* Oversee interfacility transfers and safe patient moves.
* Coordinate with executives SAAS, DHW, SHCC, and external agencies.
* Partner with senior clinical teams to deliver safe, timely care.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams and drive change management and service improvement outcomes.
* Prioritize workload, support staff development, and education initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse (RN) with NMBA registration and current practice certificate.
* Strong patient flow and bed management capability.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and strong communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to drive change management and service improvement outcomes.
* Professional development and continuous learning mindset.
Remuneration
Salary: RN‐3 $130,190 – $136,010 p.a. (pro‐rata) + super + salary packaging. Salary packaging up to $9,010 for living expenses, $2,650 for meals & entertainment, pre‐tax super & novated lease options.
