About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Development Specialist to drive our construction engineering activities.
* Drive company policies and practices in compliance with legislative requirements.
* Ensure compliance with quality, occupational health & safety and environmental standards.
The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in building/construction or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate construction engineering activities to ensure projects are implemented as planned.
* Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects.
* Contribute to improvements to existing designs.
* Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders.
* Assist with preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
Qualifications
* Degree/Diploma in building/construction or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification.
* Ability to communicate and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
* Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative and decision making skills.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
* Proven professionalism, maturity and candour in daily work ethic.
* Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
