About the Role:
* Supervise and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Process and manage payroll, ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations and timely payments.
* Reconcile financial transactions, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded and compliant with standards.
* Prepare and review financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and distribution statements.
* Oversee the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensure accurate lodgement with relevant authorities.
* Assist with tax filings and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
* Handle financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and investments.
* Liaise directly with clients to address financial inquiries and provide exceptional service.
* Collaborate with the accounting team to support overall financial operations and reporting.
* Maintain accurate records of all AP, AR, payroll, BAS, and financial activities.
* Ensure strict compliance with fiduciary duties, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
Key Requirements:
* Proficient in using Xero to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and streamline accounting processes.
* Able to effectively liaise with clients, address inquiries, and provide clear, professional communication.
